Beginning with an airport pickup and transport to your Hotel in Kigali, the 5-day, 4-night Rwanda Gorilla trek tour. A full-day trip of Kigali is planned for day two, during which time visitors will see Mount Kigali, the genocide memorial, Hotel des Milles Collines, Kimiromko huge market, and the Rwanda Art Museum. On Day 3, you’ll travel to Volcanoes National Park while passing through lovely plantations and rolling hills. On Day 4, you will track one of the 10 habituated gorilla groups in Rwanda while gorilla trekking in the park. On Day 5, the journey comes to an end with a transfer back to the airport in Kigali for your departure home.

Upon arrival at the Kigali airport at around (Flight TBA), you will be met by our representative at the airside for assistance through all the Visa clearance and be handled over to your driver guide at the exit, greetings – short briefing and immediate transfer to your Hotel in Kigali.

After a leisure morning breakfast at around 09:00 am, your driver/Guide will meet you at the hotel and ready to explore the City of Kigali and its surroundings
You will start from your Hotel and after a short drive, the climbing up Mount Kigali begins in Nyamirambo Sector and extends further North to other Kigali communities: it is not a mountain as the name implies but a hill in Kigali and the walking distance is about an hour. On your way to Mount Kigali you will have a view of the big part of Kigali City and of course entertaining the local communities, local taverns and restaurants lining in the whole walkway.
We proceed to visit the genocide memorial site; a grim reminder of the senseless massacre of innocent’s lives in 1994, there after you will go for Lunch at Hotel des Milles Collines, commonly known for the Movie Hotel Rwanda.
Later drive to visit the Kimiromko giant market and if time allows visit the Rwanda Art Museum. (known as the country’s sole museum of contemporary art gallery. Return to your Hotel for diner and overnight.

After a leisure morning breakfast at around 09:00 am, your driver/Guide will meet you at your hotel and ready to transfer to the Volcanoes National Park.
The drive is through beautiful rolling hills, awesome landscape, bypassing coffee and banana plantations on a comfortable paved road and this is approximately 3 hours from Kigali to your lodge.

Wake up for an early morning breakfast and at around 6:30AM, we head to the Kinigi Park Headquarters.
Today, your gorilla trek is sure to be the highlight of your tour. You will be at the Kinigi ranger station by 7am, where you allocate guides and briefed before heading into the forest. You will track one of the 10 habituated Gorilla groups in Rwanda. Move in a company of experienced ranger guides through the forest while searching for mountain gorillas. Only eight people are able to track each habituated group. After the Gorilla trekking, you will return to your Lodge and the remainder of the day is at leisure.
Overnight: Ingagi Park View Lodge
Today is a day for packing, shopping and getting ready to be transferred to Kigali airport for your outbound flight. The journey from Musanze to Kigali airport takes around 3 Hours on a beautiful landscape and easy drive through the land of thousand hills.
