Our Driver Guide will meet you at your Hotel in Kigali or at the Airport, greetings – short briefing, do a PCR COVID Test and getting ready to be transferred to the north western part of the country; the area commonly known for the home of the Mountain Gorillas at the Volcanoes National Park.
The drive is through beautiful rolling hills, awesome landscape, bypassing coffee and banana plantations on a comfortable paved road. This is approximately 3 hours drive from Kigali to your Hotel close to the Volcanoes National Park.
Wake up for an early morning breakfast and at around 6:30AM, we head to the Kinigi Park Headquarters.
Today, your gorilla trek is sure to be the highlight of your tour. You will be at the Kinigi ranger station by 7am, where you allocate guides and briefed before heading into the forest. You will track one of the 10 habituated Gorilla groups in Rwanda. Move in a company of experienced ranger guides through the forest while searching for mountain gorillas. Only eight people are able to track each habituated group. After the Gorilla trekking, you will return to your Lodge and the remainder of the day is at leisure.
Today is your Day for Packing and getting ready to be transferred to your Hotel in Kigali or at the airport
for your out bound flight at late hours with a flight at (TBA).
